Antique Buffet Makeover & Turned Into Entertainment Center

When I bought my 120 year old victorian 2 years ago, I needed to furnish on a budget. Because money was tight. I also envisioned how my home was going to be decorated. The challenge was on to finding these particular pieces. I also have a deep love for antiques. So I found this gorgeous buffet in the garbage! Thats right.. the garbage!!! Best find yet!!! Don't ya think???

How To:

  1. Remove hardware off

  2. Remove loose pieces of veneer by hand

  3. Use a metal stiff painter tool in a HORIZONTAL position to pry off veneer

  4. If you couldn't get all the veneer off, use a hammer (hitting the metal stiff painter tool handle top)

  5. Once off...sand furniture if desired a smoother look. Then paint with chalk paint
